Formulation of Fat Blends and End Products

PLB Food and Dairy Consultants offers to develop recipes and formulations based on value added vegetable fat blends, often non-GMO, no/low-trans and low in saturated fatty acids for the production of:

  • A broad range of margarines, spreads and shortenings
  • Mayonnaise and dressings
  • Dairy products and ice creams
  • Chocolate and confectionery
  • Various bakery applications
  • Other foods, including animal feed, where fat is a constituent part

Our work model includes assisting our customers with recipes, formulations and production procedures

The combination of recipes, material components and process parameters is tailored to the individual customer´s production facilities and to the required functional, organoleptic (flavour/texture) and nutritional properties of the end products. This is provided via distance/online communication from our base in Norway as well as physical presence at the customer´s production site. PLB commits to complete confidentiality concerning customers´ formulations/recipes, procedures, product details, manufacturing procedures etc.
